The Holiday Room is described as follows:  "The HOLIDAY ROOM, on the lobby floor, is an air-conditioned Cocktail Lounge in ultra-modern decor, and features a Bar service noted for the excellence of its Wine list and mixed drinks.  Four magnificent murals of heroic size recently completed by Leopold Charles Matzal, famed Austrian artist and Prix de Rome award winner, illustrate holidays as they are celebrated in the capitals of the world.  Luncheon and dinner served daily...with week-end cabaret dancing during the winter season.  No cover or minimum charge at any time."
